Sweet 16, Quinceañera, Bar/Bat Mitzvah!

San Francisco Jet Charter arranges travel for milestone family celebrations across the Bay Area, including Sweet 16 parties, quinceaneras, and bar and bat mitzvahs.

Family travel, at scale

These occasions bring relatives in from everywhere, often across several generations and frequently from abroad. Coordinating that on commercial schedules means a lot of separate itineraries and at least one relative arriving at an awkward hour. A charter brings the family in together.

Where guests are arriving internationally, they will clear customs at San Francisco, Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport, San Jose or Monterey Regional, as those are the region’s customs airports. From there we can arrange onward flights or ground transport to the venue.

Traveling with older relatives and children

Private terminals make a real difference for grandparents and small children. There is no long concourse, no queue and no gate wait, and boarding is a short walk. If anyone in the party has mobility requirements, tell us at the outset and we will confirm what the specific aircraft can accommodate. Our wheelchair access page covers this in more detail.

Sizing the aircraft

Family parties tend to grow. Give us the realistic headcount, including children, since it determines the appropriate aircraft. Above nineteen passengers the flight operates under FAR Part 121 or a foreign equivalent rather than FAR Part 135.

Catering and the day itself

Dietary requirements are worth mentioning early. Upon booking your flight, please let us know prior to the quoting process if catering matters on your trip, and we will confirm what the operator can arrange.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

San Francisco-Specific Patterns We Plan Around

Tower hours determine the trips more than anything else. Only San Francisco International and Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport are towered around the clock; Hayward Executive closes in the late afternoon, and Livermore runs weekday daytime hours with a short window on weekends. For an early departure or a late return, that difference decides the airport. Customs is narrow in this region too, with San Francisco, Oakland, Mineta San Jose and Monterey Regional the fields that clear international arrivals. Trips into the Sierra are their own case, where elevation and terrain shape the aircraft choice more than the distance does.
