San Francisco Jet Charter arranges flights to casino and racing destinations. Out of the Bay Area, that is one of the busiest corridors we handle.
The Las Vegas run
Bay Area to Las Vegas is roughly an hour and a half, which makes it a light or midsize jet trip for most parties and one of the region’s most reliable weekend patterns. We also maintain a dedicated San Francisco to Las Vegas page covering that route in detail.
Because the corridor runs busy in both directions, it is also one of the better routes for finding an empty leg. Those depend entirely on an aircraft already needing to reposition, so they suit flexible dates rather than fixed ones. Our empty leg page explains how they work.
Race meetings
Race days bring the same problem as any fixed-date event: everyone arrives in the same few hours and leaves in the same few hours. Landing closer to the track rather than at the region’s main airport takes a meaningful amount of travel time out of the day, particularly on the way home.
Tell us the venue rather than the airport and we will work out which field puts you nearest.
Groups
These trips are usually social, and the party grows between the first call and the booking. Give us the realistic headcount rather than the optimistic one, because it determines the appropriate aircraft. Past nineteen passengers the trip moves to an airliner-size aircraft under FAR Part 121 or a foreign equivalent.
Late returns
Coming home late is normal on these trips and worth a word at the planning stage. Only San Francisco and Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport are towered around the clock in this region, so a very late arrival usually routes through one of the two.

Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
San Francisco-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
Tower hours determine the trips more than anything else. Only San Francisco International and Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport are towered around the clock; Hayward Executive closes in the late afternoon, and Livermore runs weekday daytime hours with a short window on weekends. For an early departure or a late return, that difference decides the airport. Customs is narrow in this region too, with San Francisco, Oakland, Mineta San Jose and Monterey Regional the fields that clear international arrivals. Trips into the Sierra are their own case, where elevation and terrain shape the aircraft choice more than the distance does.
